5kg Weight Loss Equals Progress?

I've been strict with food and lost body fat but will it equal FRONT LEVER + PLANCHE PROGRESS? In todays session I'm back at my favourite Calisthenics Park in Alkimos Perth Australia. A quick 15min training session before school pick and before I’m caught by the big black clouds, it’s very different than the previous weeks of beautiful blue skies. The session included a scapula warm up, Tuck Planche, Front Lever bar Pullover, Planche Lean, Full Front Lever attempts, Straddle Planche and Full Planche Attempts. Everything has felt better since cutting out carbs and sugar, I’ve lost over 5kg in the last 6 weeks, the cravings have gone. It’s definitely been harder to keep the weight off in the last few years, I’m about to turn 46 years old 170cm and now weigh 74.5kg. My starting weight was just over 80kg. Todays Full Planche and Full Front Lever attempts felt much easier, I can now hold 5ish seconds in Front Lever and 2ish seconds in Full Planche. I’m excited to see where these go over the next few weeks especially the Full Planche! Hoping to see a 10s hold before I turn 50!! Check Out the video to see the session.
