Stalder Press to Handstand

How to Progress from Press Handstand to Stalder Press. Break the move down into parts that fit your current level (strength, flexibility, body type, balance)

First Assess each of the components Straddle L Sit, Eccentric Press to Straddle L, Concentric Press to Handstand and then the Full Movement.

Then build a program to Strengthen and condition the parts that need work. Flexibility can hold back the progress so look at splitting the strength movement and flexibility into seperate sections by raising the hands up for the strength, working the Straddle flexibility and compression before or after.
